Natalie Piserchio is a New York City based commercial and editorial photographer who often works with a combination of digital, film, and Polaroid mediums. She has steadily worked in the fashion industry for 10 years and occasionally works in the film industry.
Natalie draws much of her creative inspiration from her childhood. She was raised by an immigrant mother who was a seamstress, and often spent time in fabric stores, sewing rooms, and fittings while her mother worked. Natalie was drawn to various colors and textures of materials, and developed an interest in fashion and design at an early age. She also grew up thrifting as a means, and fell in love with unique garments and the imaginative stories they took on. She found her first camera, a Minolta XG-9, at a thrift store when she was 13. She became obsessed with photography and went on to earn her BFA at Tyler School of Art, and later established a freelance career in photography working for globally known e-commerce brands, publications, and media organizations.
Natalie’s other sources of inspiration include music, gender expression, surrealism, pop art, joy, and fun. She loves collaborating with other artists and making thoughtful, inspiring imagery together.
